Well, i received lots of birthday greetings and wishes (inclusive those belated one la) through e-card or sms from ex-engineering colleagues, secondary school mates and nursing friends.
My husband gave me a treat to my favourite dim sum at Crystal Jade restaurant. As for present? Well, he tried to gave me a surprise by putting his DIY voucher S$300 into one of Andrew Matthew's book pg46 titled Happiness. Happened that i took out that book to read (he saved the need to prompt me). Soon, he asked me (trying to sound as casual possible)
"What title did you read just now?".
So, I casually replied him anything i can think of from my mind.
and then he said "I want to recommend you to read this title called Happiness".
"But it is already late dear, it's time to sleep..."
He tried to 'please' me several times and in the end he ordered "I insist dear". (He sounded a little desperate).
At this point, i think it is time for me to spill his beans. So, I talked and giggled same time "So, are there any expiry date ah?".
He gave a 1 second stunned face and then, we both burst out laughing. ( I laughed loudest la of course...)
Reaching home from my AM shift work today, i noticed a red packet (ang pow) on my study desk. It is from my Mummy :D
Then, while I open my wardrobe drawer after shower, i found a card and present from my sister. Yay :P !!!
I felt happy. So many people remembered my birthday and do something for me. I felt that I am being loved - I must have been good. (LoL...).
